With temperatures rising to around 86 degrees in Fairbanks, residents in Alaska got their first-ever heat advisory.

The state, which previously issued information about high temperatures using special weather statement, has issued its first heat advisory.

The first ever heat advisory has been issued in the state of Alaska. The National Weather Service is warning that temperatures could hit 85 degrees in the Fairbanks area on Sunday.
